New Studies available on 7.8 ???

I noticed where there are several new studies I would like to download in the "amStudies" links on the bulletin board. I still run Windows 98 SE with esignal 7.8. I see where it's recommended to run the studies using version 7.9. Is that truly necessary or will they still work on 7.8? Tech support told me NOT to download 7.9 unless I upgraded my OS. I don't really want to have to do that. Alexis or Jason....any input on this? Will the new studies work on 7.8? (Tema, T3, fisher, etc).

The studies included in the amStudies function library require eSignal 7.9.1 (or later) to run.
