  • applying a time interval offset to a tick chart

I would like to take the range of the prior 15min bar of the ES, and display it on a tick-chart during the current 15min time period.

I am using the EFS2 Donchian channel with length=1 and a 15min interval, then I offset in the chart.

On a 1-min chart, I can offset it 15 bars and it gives me exactly what I want.

On the tick chart, however, I cannot get the channel to line up properly, because the number of tick bars per 15-min period varies. I am using a daily average to offset it, which works OK, but I am wondering if there is any way to get the offset to line up correctly on a tick chart.

    Thanks very much.
