  • two general questions

    1) I come from a history of programming, and a used to having a editor that lets me see what the program (efs) is doing and I can stop and fix things as I go along. Do you have a editor that I could useā€¦. ????
    2) To use an efs, does the symbol have to be on the chart. Example, I have CSCO in my chart window, and have IBM in my portfolio list. Can I write an EFS to fire when IBM get to the low of the day.?????

    1) You can find eSignal's EFS Editor in Tools-> EFS-> Editor
    2) In order to run an efs needs to be loaded in a chart. However using the EFS2 sym() function a script can be based on an external symbol (ie one that is not used in the chart in which the efs is running).
