chart: open new day = close prev. day

hi,

often are big differences between the prev. day close and the open of the new day.

some studies (MA, Parabolic....) need a long time during the first hours of the new day, work proper (see snapshot)

is there a way, that i can start the new day (first candle) on the close of the prev. day, so that are no differences between close prev. day and open of the new day?

You can use the Bar Editor (Tools-> Bar Editor in the main menu or by right clicking a chart) and edit the OHLCV values of a bar

You should consider switching to volume charts (including pre./post market data).
