Backtest/Strategy for Downloaded EFS

Just wondering if backtesting/creating strategies is allowed on studies that I download from the file sharing web site...

From what I heard it is only allowed on the built in studies Esignal provides with the software...

any truth or am I ok to test and create a strategy with downloadable studies, thanks for the help.

You can use any available efs to write your own strategies.
