color bars based on 3sma of cci

Can someone please take a look at my attached efs and show what im doing incorrectly. My goal is to color the bars based on whether the 3period ma of the cci which is refered to as SMA in my efs is increasing or decreasing. I applied a similar code as one i used before to accomplish the same purpose on another indicator but it does not seem to work. Maybe the order in which im doing things is incorrect.

I actually went through some posts on this bulleitn board and was able to address my problem and figures out how to do everything much simpler in one statement defining the 3ma of the cci since its possible in this version of esignal to calculate a study of a study.
