  • Order of execution of Studies

I am using an efs to collect Global variables set by other studies (all in the same chart).
Most of the time this works fine (although I had some crashes of eSignal; probably for other reasons) but sometimes the Global variables collected refer to the bar before the last one.
Hence the obvious question: what by the way defines the execution order of the studies in a chart ?
Could somebody help me on this ?
    Thank you.

    Hello jbiard,

They execute in the reverse order in which they were applied to the chart. The last formula applied to the chart will be first in the execution order when your page or layout is initializing.

Thank for your help; works fine now.
I also had a very long Load time for my efs and found that using debugPrint for every bar was causing the delay (and probably the crashes I had).
