getcurrentbarindex never equals zero

In the attached file, intended for real time trading with IB, I am writing the variable values at different intervals to a text file and I noticed that the value of getcurrentbarindex is never zero. It gets down to -6 or -3 but it never equals zero.

Can anybody please let me know what I am doing wrong?

The first order of business that needs to be addressed is the use of BLBarOffset. Its being used as a constant but its not declared in your formula, which causes a syntax error.

You are right, in the clean up before posting the code I took out more variable definitions than I should.

The problem is that you are mixing old EFS1 logic with EFS2 logic. The way you were trying to do this, the vMACD variable was returning a null value at bar -2 and consequently hitting the return statement on the null check for vMACD. In preMain() where you initialize your built-in studies, use the EFS2 versions, adx(), macd() and stochD() without the new constructor. That is no longer needed with EFS2. Then in main() where you assign the values to your study variables, use .getValue(0), which is the proper method in EFS2 for retrieving the current value of the built-in study.
