  • Advanced Chart vs efs

I use an efs that plots a symbol with moving average as a non price study. I use it a lot, so I can monitor several other symbols including things like the TICK and Trin in a compact form.

The Performance Monitor typically reports the average time for this efs as 0.26 ms

My question is, is this efs less CPU load than just using a separate Advanced chart with one moving average, about the same or more?

I have one chart with 5 of these on it, all monitoring different symbols. Would I be better or worse CPU wise if I replaced that chart with 6 Advanced Charts?

    Thanks

    bigtee.

Its probably the same CPU load

You're pulling data and running a simple calc. The extra charts will use some CPU for the graphics, but you're using that now to redraw with your EFS.

Basically - it's probably about the same CPU usage..

Thanks Brad... If its six of one, half dozen of the other, I'll stay with the efs....Simpler and keeps everything lined up nicely.
