setPosition Problem?

I have been having problems getting the setPosition property on the File object to work properly. I noticed that there was an old post (2004) that said that this function did NOT work.

Can you verify for me whether the setPosition problem has been fixed? If not, perhaps it should be documented as such.

This problem has not yet been corrected. For future reference, this issue is listed as EDL #22044 in our internal developers list.
