This is not a formula-specific solution, but for charts with numerous formulas, I improved stability considerably when I changed time templates from Dynamic to a fixed number of days. Navigate to time templates by right clicking on the chart, then Time Templates > Edit. Highlight the bolded title you want to add user-defined templates to, then:
Type: User Defined
Interval: (1, 5, 15, etc., whatever your chart interval)
#Days: (number of days of data)
Start Time: (when you want data to start) (For 24 hr data, enter 0:00)
End Time: (when you want data to end) (For 24 hr data, enter 0:00)
Then click Update/Add.
Another thing, if you have numerous charts with numerous or complex formulas, it takes a while for all of it to load. As the data is loading, don't jump the gun and try to do some other task in eSignal, or you can trigger a crash. Also, run build 578 if not already.
Works for me.
