  • HHV of Stochastic

    I am relatively new to EFS and have studied the tutorials and searched in the forums, Wizard and KB for setting up an efs with a highest high of a stochastic. I saw a possibility of using a Donchian study for "nesting" but I'm not sure how to do that. Looking at the hhv in the KB shows a starting point similar to:

    var xSeries = hhv(10, stochD(14, 1, 3) );

    I'm trying to compare current values of the stochastic with previous highs or lows of the stochastics. Please direct me to a thread or study that may help.

    Thanks,

    kz

    Hi zeller4,

    To get the format correct, I reccomend you try the EFS2 Toolbox which will help you visualize and create the nesting you want. Please check this link to this post on the EFS2 Toolbox.

    Check also this other very helpful thread here

      Thanks, Steve,

      I wanted to review the EFS Toolbox section you directed me to before working with the nesting operation... I see this will take some more research before I can report my next challenge question... (Working with getSeries or ?)

      Thanks for the lead.
