Detrend Oscillator (MAsimple - close)

Is there perhaps anybody out that has done an efs for the Detrend oscillator. It's formula is: the Moving Average - the close. I must be able to choose the value of the Moving Average (Simple)

Try the attached efs. The default MA length is 50 but it can be modified through Edit Studies. If you want to change the default use the Editor.

Thank you Alex, it works fine. Is it possible to make the scale +100% and -100% and restrict it? It would also be nice if the 0 line could be a solid red line

The formula you give will not create an oscillator that ranges between -100 and 100, in fact it looks very close to a simplied version of the traditional tether OB/OS indicator.

To change this to an oscillator you could always change it to be:


((MAsimple - close)/MAsimple)*100

Is this perhaps what you are looking for?

Thank you for all the help. I have reworked the detrend 'n little so that it moves with the price action. I have attached the file if you would like to test it.
