drawShape() Location Flags

Hi,
Can the Location Flags (e.g: AboveBar1 / BelowBar1) of the drawShape() function be used to position text in a drawTextRelative (yValue) function?

The AboveBar1 or AboveBar2 etc Location Flags position the text perfectly, no matter what time frame (and thus scaling) is used.

They can be used also with the drawTextXxxx() functions (see the link for the required syntax)

I’ve used the Location Flags of AboveBar1 and BelowBar1 in a drawTextRelative function I have in a study. However, it will only display the text in the $0.00 location of the yScale.

I have tested other drawTextRelative parameters to see if these are causing the problem, but the result is still the same.

Any ideas?

Hello Paul,

Did you add Text.PRESET to your flags? If that doesn't solve the problem, please post some examples of your drawTextRelative calls.

That's brilliant - works fine and the text is perfectly aligned in all time frames - from monthly down to seconds.
