EFS Symbol Limit

I find it totally unreasonable that I can only use 7 (yes SEVEN) symbol instances in any one efs script.

This figure is WAY too low and makes paying for 200 or 500 or whatever symbols seem extravagant.

I pay for access to the data and use of the software and then eSingal restrict the way I can use what I have paid for - artifically it seems.

eSignal, please do an efs update and increase the sym limit to at least 50.

Hello mitboy,

The symbol limit in EFS is to allow an EFS to create spreads or access multiple intervals using up to 7 symbols/intervals. EFS is not intended to be used to create scanners or similar routines. Allowing EFS to perform these types of routines would potentially overload our data servers so it's not likely that the limit will be increased. However, you are more than welcome to submit your request to increase the limit to our development team at [email protected].

we already have "viewing at a time" symbol limits - I thought that would be enough to protect the servers...
