does anyone know the manual break keys for when a script is looping and you want to stop it?

    mitboy,

Ctrl-Alt-Delete is the only option you have if you want to terminate a continuous loop.

really?! - that's a bit slack = most programming environments allow you the option to terminate a program, surely?

yes, really. FWIW, I have managed to get into the same situation using several different languages, the most recent with C# with some do...while loops.

If you have an example environment that has the behavior you like, perhaps you can make a suggestion to eSignal.

seems like veryone is talking C# recently - I know NeoTicker and NinjaTrader are or are about to implement their scripting with it...

is it a type of object-oriented C or something? what is the #?

C# is a java-like Microsoft language. Here is an article describing it: http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/0900/csharp/
