difference of two moving averages

Will somebody please help me? I am looking for an efs to download that can do the following: plot the difference of two simple moving averages. I.E., subtract the value of one from another. It is the simplest mathematical function imaginable. What I need is its eSignal symbol, so that I can tell technical support what it is so they can help me download it. I use Advanced Charts on the Dow Jones Index futures. --Zeta

Unless you have a specific reason for wanting to use an efs you can do that using the MACD available in Basic Studies which calculates the difference between two averages.
After you selected the lengths and source for the two averages set the Signal Smoothing parameter to 1, check the Simple Moving Average (Oscillator) option [if you want to use simple moving averages] and uncheck the Histogram Display option.
In the screenshot below you can see an example of how to set it up and the resulting chart
