Price Tick Count problems

I have used the tick count program gratiously provided by Alex, and tried to apply it to a Price change chart. When it counts down, it does not go all the way to 0 before starting a new candle.

I have written traces of each tick received, and compared it to the time and sales, and I believe the logis is correct.

What are the rules for the Price tick to increment? It appears it may be connected with changes to bid/ask, in addition to transaction price. If so, how do I create an accurate counter?

Just letting you know that we have an inquiry into our development regarding the price change logic. It doesn't appear to be reproducible in EFS based on the common understanding of a price change. I'll provide more details on this when I hear back from development.
