  • Is there a way to use a dialog box within a study?

I would like to have a time, position, and reset button to tell my study what kind of signal it should look for... So I would enter a 12:40, Short, and click the reset button, and the study would look for a long signal (based on my strategy). Is this possible? If not should I just use the edit study dialog? Or is there another way to do what I want?

    Thanks,
    Robert

    use can use..

you can use a file (CSV) to handle all of these inputs. There is no real solution to handling these inputted values (other than using the EDIT Studies feature or using an external file and reloading the efs as needed.

There is a way for you do develop a DLL to pass information to/from the efs, but it might be too complicated for you to achieve.

I've found the excel file (CSV) is the easiest way for me to allow clients to maintain/change inputs on a large scale for their systems.
