MACD for Higher Time Frame

Dear eSignal;
I'm trying to graph MACD for 5 min in 1 min chart. I'm using customMACD that is built in. But for some reason, I couldn't find option to change MACD smoothing to change from SMA to EMA. Is that true or is there way to change it to EMA smoothing. Efs example would be really appreciated.

The efs2 MACD functions use only exponential moving averages for both the MACD and Signal lines which is why there is no option to set the type of average used. If you want the option to use a simple moving average you will need to write your own MACD study. For an example on how to do this you may want to see the Chaikin Oscillator in this thread.
