Bad Ticks

Could anyone suggest a way to having a study ignore bad ticks.

I would suggest using the Bar Editor to "edit out" the spikes. To access this click on Chart Options --> Tools --> Bar Editor or right click the bar you wish to edit and go to Tools --> Bar Editor. Once the bar data has been edited, the bar will change colors and the new bar will be reflected in the technical study.

One other alternative is to use Price Filtering. This will automatically edit a bar to ignore a price spike that occurs outside a certain %Range. More information on Price Filtering can be found at these FAQ's.
