what is the api to find out the bar index of the bar at a specific time?

I believe I saw it somewhere that there is an api in efs to retrieve the bar index of the bar at a given time, something like getBarIndexAt(d), where d is a Date object. Anyone knows the cirrect name of this api? Or maybe it is just something in other trading softwares I am using.
