  • Need clarification on embedded EFS

On your last sheet of fixes in the new beta it says that you can choose to embedd the efs formulas or not. I resaved current pages and charts in new names but never got the dialog box to chooses yes or no to that option. Am I missing something here or can you clarify. Is it true that when a formula is embedded in a chart it makes things go faster due to having all of the EFS codes right in the page? Would greatly appreciate an answer.

    Earl,

When you goto publish a chart or workspace to the fileshare (using the eSignal
Central Bar), there is a checkbox at the bottom of the dialog "Include EFS
files" - that automatically embeds the EFS files into the chart.

It is NOT TRUE that embedding the EFS in a chart makes things go faster.
Whether the EFS is loaded from a file or embedded in the chart, it runs and
    loads at the same speed.

      emailing .ach files to buddies

I have a small group of friends that share .ach files. It would be nice to be able to have the .efs file embedded for those purposes as well...not just uploading to esignal central
