  • documentation on function "efs"

I recently saw a study which referenced the function "efs" passing a couple of parameters.

Can someone point me to the documentation on this function? I can't seem to find any description in the EFS knowledge base.

    Thanks,
    Gordo

    Hello Gordo,

That was the first name used for a function that is now called efsExternal(). The other function name will be deprecated at some point.

Jason, please don't get rid of the "function" feature for EFS. I use it all the time and it is common syntax for other languages. ~~ Please ~~

Jason was referring to a specific function called efs() which is now efsExternal() and not to the statement function

          Brad,

I believe Jason was saying they would get rid of the "efs()" call, since we should now be using efsExternal(). I don't see anything about getting rid of the "function <function name>" syntax.
