Changing the Symbol on a Chart

Hi, i'm sure this question must have been asked before, but I cannot find it?

Is it possible to change the symbol (and interval) on a chart that I am looking at with EFS, as I cannot find a function to do this anywhere?

Hello Bob,

This capability is not allowed in EFS as it would allow for abusive routines that could make excessive chart requests. Changing the symbol or interval of a chart must be done manually.

Hi Jason, Thanks for the direct reply.

The reason that I want this capability is so that I can write a scan routine for a small number of symbols, as the scan routines that come with eSignal do not work on uk (-lon) stocks.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Hello Bob,

EFS is not a solution for scanning as it has a 7 symbol limit per formula. Regarding the -lon symbols, please post an inquiry in the eSignal forum or contact our support department directly.
