A Lock on EFS?

In the editor I saw a button with lock shape.

I suppose is to "lock " the efs since some studies I'v bought from Chris have it on;

I'v triyed to turn it on & off on my own EFS but with no results.

Can you explain how to use it?

To lock an efs, Tools Encrypt/Decrypt , select the study, and click on Encrypt.
