The eSignal development team would like to welcome 2 new members who will be filling some needed holes. Brad Matheny and Sam Tennis have agreed to come on board as consultants to assist eSignal users on the message boards and individually with strategies and custom indicators for use in eSignal Advanced Charting and the eSignal Strategy Analyzer. Even though they're not eSignal employees, they're working closely with our engineers and developers to help us bring EFS to a new level. They'll become a resource to help you with things that can already be done in EFS and a conduit for you to express your needs for enhancements to be added to the program.
We'll continue to monitor the boards and answer posts when appropriate, but you'll start to see them post more often than us. One of the other major helps that Brad will take on is documentation. He's creating 5 easy to understand documents that will be guides through several topics. The first will be on creating a strategy, followed by creating a basic indicator, creating graphical indicators, creating back testing formulas, and setting up real-time trading. Brad and Sam will also be helping us create a full Language Reference Guide which will list every function available within EFS including a description, the correct syntax, and examples of each function.
We realize that this has been a long time coming, but we've been running at high speed with advanced charting in 2002 and haven't had enough opportunity to catch up with the documentation that we know you need. Bringing Sam and Brad into the fold will definitely move us in the right direction and will give you some Champions to push us in the right direction.
Please welcome them and take advantage of this service they're willing to offer.
