Hi

I would like to use different symbols on my sma crossover file, such that I can change them when I edit the file how can I go about.

You can do that using the sym() function which allows you to call an external symbol. For the syntax of the function and examples on how to use it see the related article in the EFS KnowledgeBase. Then use the FunctionParameter Object to make the symbol a user defined option that can be changed through Edit Studies. As an example of this see the scripts provided in the EFS2 Custom folder of Formulas which are set to use external symbols and/or intervals
