  • cannot see efs files in explorer

i am totallly baffled, i cannot see any of the new efs files i save in explorer under esignal/formulas but when i try to open them from tools->formulas they are there or from the efs window.

For example i open any of the standard efs files, click on save as, and create a new directory and save it there. when i look in explorer under esignal/formulas i cannot find it, in fact a total search of my harddrive doesn't show that directory. BUt when i go to formulas in esignal i see it.

What is happening here, it started from some point now, all my previous formulas work fine. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I have recently encrypted a bunch of stuff. COuld it have anything to do with that.

You're running eSignal on Vista. Please check these two links

thank you very much amol, i have in the meantime also figured it out, and i guess it makes sense in a way for vista to keep us from writing in program files. Its just that i used to copy my formulas folder to keep my different computers in sync.

        Thank you again.
