I have written a simple indicator for use on stock index futures charts. This indicator places an up or down arrow when the NYSE $TICK value exceeds certain high and low levels. In this way, the trader can be alerted to when the $TICK goes to extreme levels without having to take their eyes off their primary chart. A copy of this indicator is attached.
What's weird is that this indicator works fine on most charts, even 2 minute charts. However, when I try to place it on a tick chart (like a 233-tick chart), many times the indicator fails to load ... it just says "Loading Data ..." However, this doesn't happen all of the time - just most of the time. There have been times when it's loaded completely.
Does anyone know why this happens and what can be done to have the indicator load completely?
