As indicated in this article in the EFS KnowledgeBase the getMostRecentTrade() function does not have any arguments and it does not return historical values so calling getMostRecentTrade(0) or getMostRecentTrade(-1) is not valid.
To do what you want apply the logic that SteveH showed you in his reply to you in this post

      Hi Alexis,

I did do a search in the EFS Knowledgebase before doing my post, but the article you found was not displayed.

Thanks for letting me know about SteveH's post. For some reason, replies to my posts are not being sent to my email.

That is strange because I just did the search myself so as to create the link to the article for my reply to you and at my end it displays as the first of the articles found

          Hi Alex,

This is what was shown to me when I did a search:

...there are two getMostRecentTrade() articles displayed when you do a search, the one you found and the one I found.

          Steve's study works great.

As I understand it the EFS KnowledgeBase also includes the older articles because there are outside links that point to them that would otherwise be broken.
When you run a search and you get more than one article for the same function you should select the one with the higher article number as that will be the most recent/current one. In the image enclosed below that would be 2080 instead of 1108

              Hi Alex,

Good to know that. It doesn't help when the older article has a newer date on it (9/9/2008 vs 7/14/2005). I'm sure eSignal will remove old articles over time.
