Data and Time of current bar being processed

Hi all
My understanding is that EFS engine processes all bars in sequence from oldest to most recent in the chart. Is there a way to get both the calendar date (ideally as(MM/DD/YYYY) and the time (ideally as hh:mm) of the bar currently being processed (as it goes from left to right)?

I have a requirement to compare these date/times with date/times read in from an external file.

Hello George,

We do have some EFS functions that will give you the date and time of each bar.

getDay()
getMonth()
getYear()

getHour()
getMinute()
getSecond()

You would then use the results to build a string that would match the format of the date/time info in your external file.

Jason - do those methods give the date/time of the bar currently being processed from left to right, or the data in the "now" moment, as in "now", the current computer date/time, etc.

They give you the date and time for the current bar being processed from left to right, not the current computer time.
