function parameters on/off w/Check box

I noticed in a few studies I was using they have check boxes in the FORMAT OBJECT window. I understand the concept and how to make a function parameter for an input in an EFS, but I was wondering how you go about making a check box, like in the examples below

The checkboxes shown in your first screenshot are currently used [to my knowledge] only by the Built-in Studies while the one shown in the second screenshot is available in efs using the Boolean FunctionParameter
