Unit testing of EFS studies

I am interested to know how EFS developers are unit testing their EFS studies. What is the recommended approach that esignal advise developers to use for their unit testing?

I have not found any facility within Esignal 10.6 which would allow a developer to write a repeatable unit test case for a piece of EFS, nor any documentation on recommendations - but could easily have missed this.
