  • EFS in watch list with parameters in v11.2

I've created an EFS with parameters for use in a watch list in v11.2. However, it seems the params don't appear when editing the column settings. In fact, the EFS won't run at all when I use params. Instead I just have to hard-code the values in global vars and leave main() without any params.

Is there a separate place to set these params? Is this not implemented yet in v11? Perhaps some different coding practice to make them appear that I'm unaware?

    Thanks!

    neoikon,

To set the parameters you would use the Column Settings and on the left side of the window select the EFS and all the function parameters from your script should be there (see attached).
Does your Column Setting look similar?

Hmm, I was having problems with this before, but upon re-trying it seems to be working as expected. I must have had a typo in there I was unaware of. Great to see that it is supported!

Quick question, while on the subject. Is there an EFS function call that will tell if the EFS is being run within a Watch list versus a chart?

      Thanks for your quick response!
