  • how do I delete invalid scripts?

Everytime I boot up eSignal I get a bunch of notifications for invalid efs backtesting scripts. They are backtesting samples that I played with when I first downloaded esignal 11 last fall. Not sure why they are acting up now. Possibly a recent upgrade?

It's not causing any problems, it's just an annoyance.

I've rechecked all my charts and edited out all the scripts I've even deleted them from my documents file, but it still pops up every time on start up.

I just want to remove the invalid scripts. I'm not trying to fix them.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

The invalid scripts will be somewhere and that's why they are acting up.

Go to all the pages you have open (at startup), right click on the chart and you should see a "remove studies" option ... within that list there will be the studies which are failing. You can also decide to "remove all studies" and rebuild your chart from scratch.

What I have mentioned is a very simplistic (naive) answer and maybe you have tried it when you say "edited out all the scripts". Do check.

Removing studies was indeed what I meant with the editing out reference.

Thanks all the same for your response.

      Problem still persists.
