  • alert trigger when slope exceeds

Is it possible to have an alert trigger when the line of an indicator exceeds a predefined slope?

    Thanks,

    sure...

You can easily create an EFS to do this...

you can accomplish this by measuring the previous value of the indicator compared to the current value.

Converting it to a slope should be simple, but I normally stick with the difference between the two values.

I think you can accomplish this with the "formula wizard".

If you need help, let me know..

Thanks. I have an EFS that plots the Bollinger Bands around the Jurik VEL indicator. What I would like to do is have an alert trigger when the difference between VEL and the Bollinger Basis line would be .4 or greater, above or below. I am attaching the EFS. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
