  • Mohan's High Five

I'm trying to color-code Mohan's "High Five" into my ES chart. Simply, I just want to be able to categorize the market sentiment at that moment into different colors, eg. Red=Bearish, Lime=Bullish, etc.

Now I'm having trouble getting the data into the intraday chart, such as the "Daily Change" in NAZ (eg. +15 pts), the actual value of TRIN and VIX, etc.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.

    Hi,
These HighFive studies were posted in file share a while back - maybe these will help you.

How often does the High-Five (the efs with all the data) update? Do I need to keep re-loading it?

                Thanks

                  Brian,

The $HighFive.efs was designed to update whenever a new "state" has been reached. The downside of this is that the numbers do not update often. Try out this version... it should update much more often then the former version.

New High 5 and Morning Call EFS studies

I just started my own File Sharing Group called DanPauGroup.
I have uploaded revised versions of the High 5 and Morning Call EFS studies originally posted in DayTradersAction Group.

The High 5 studies will plot as colored histograms below the price chart. My colors are:

                    Mega-Bullish - Dark Green
                    Bullish - Green
                    Neutral - Blue
                    Bearish - Orange
                    Bear Ugly - Red

On the Tick, values above 800 and below -800 are magenta

COMPQ, MER, and VIX, which are computed on the basis of the change from the previous day's close, need to be reloaded each morning after the open.

There is a png file there which shows them on a 1-min ES chart,
though I "squashed" them down a bit to fit in all the Morning Call lines on the price chart.

I think you will find these more helpful in seeing the "synthesis" of the High 5. With cursor tracing, you can see the exact state at any point in the past in the cursor window.

                    Dan

                      Sorry, hurried and brain-dead.

Left the "L" out of DanPaulGroup
