filtering out bad ticks

Does anyone have or know a formula on how to filter out those bad ticks on various time frames.

There are tools in eSignal to already assist with that.

Price Filtering - Will automatically filter out trades that are beyond a user defined threshold. To enable this feature, right-click an Advanced Chart, select Tools --> Price Filtering.

Bar Editor - Allows the local editing of bar data. This can be used to manual correct a bad tick. To use this feature, right-click an Advanced Chart, select Tools --> Bar Editor. There is a Video Tutorial available as well.
