Studies stop working on Historical Data?

I have some non-price studies (histograms, oscillators) which will not appear on charts, say prior to 3-5 days on a 1 minute chart.
Is there a default number of bars that are processed, and can they be changed?

The studies are calculated on the data loaded in the chart. The amount of data loaded in the chart can be controlled by the use of Time Templates. For more information about creating custom Time Templates, please visit this FAQ.

Is there a way to specify a start date on charts? For example,
loading 30 days of data starting July 1, 2003?

Hello Dan,

There isn't a start date option currently. You can only specify the number of days or bars. A start date field has been suggested before. Feel free to send another request for this to [email protected].
