Question for Alex:
I have campaigned for this before and am taking another shot now here...although this may not be the right place for it.
I have asking asking eSignal for some months to allow a global alert for the quote window be allowed such that 1 or 2 technical indicators would fire off alerts if user-set criteria are met (such as CCI crossing -100 from below or +100 from above).
This is only currently available in the advanced shart window...and there is no limit to the number of advanced chart windows one can have going at the same time. However, it can get to be a screen management nightmare!!
eSignal states that they are reluctant to pursue this due to the load it would put on their servers. I guess that's maybe true as techincal indicator values are not now a 'feature' of the quote window.
Needless to say, such a global alert in the quote window would make my (and maybe many others) trading life much easier!! And, it might just LESSEN the load on eSignal with less reliance on EFSs to do the workarounds.
Alex, do you see this coming in the near future...or are you in a position whereby you would know??? If so, when??
Who currently is the person to contact to voice this desire once again??
