  • More than one EFS

    Hello,

Excuse the subject heading - it doesn't really explain what I'm seeking. Anyway, I was wondering if its possible for one efs to bring up multiple formulas. For example, lets say I have system that uses muliple signals to i.e, a reversal, inside day, macd etc.. would it be possible for me to click on one efs and have those indicators appear on the chart?

    Thank you.

    Solution

I don't believe you can do this with an EFS (because you can't create an efs that draws on the price chart and the indicator pane at the same time).

Although, you could save your selected chart settings to a "Style Template" and I believe by reloading the "Style Template" onto any adv. chart will reload all the indicators you have selected.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I believe this is how it is designed to work.

Brad is correct, but one thing you can do is use the callFunction() or call() functions to call another EFS and take those results and display them in a study pane. In this way you can get multiple studies up with a single EFS, but the limitation (for now) is that they all must display their results in a single pane (price or study).
