Applying custom indicators to a list of stocks

I have written several custom indicators. I would like to apply these indicators to a list of stocks (like read the list from a hotlist.ems file)
Then output an alert if certain conditions were met.

QUESTION:
Do you have an example *.efs script where a list of stocks (*.ems maybe) is read into a script?

There is a limit to the number of symbols a signle EFS can use. I think it is now at 5 symbols. So this limits your ability to do what you are trying to do.

In theory you could output data (symbol names) to a file, and then use EFS to read in that data file and populate the symbol names. But with a 5 symbol limit, I'm not sure it is worth the effort.

Things may change in the future. At one point it was a 3 Symbol limit. So there is hope that the bar may continue to expand.
