Can EFS report back the following information to my code??

is the current symbol
a stock
a future
an index
an option

can it tell me the exchange it trades on??

can it tell me the session information (start/end time)??

I never thought of this until a client asked..

Not at this time. There was talk once of adding access to the quote sheet info via EFS...and this would give you a lot of that info. But I never heard if this was going forward or not (it was only speculation at the time I heard it).

Hi all,
I saw the thread and thought it might be a good time to ask something I have been wondering for a while. Is there a way I can write something into the quote board that will return a value or color a cell, so I know to look at that chart more carefully?

At this time efs cannot return values or color cells in a Quote Window or QuoteBoard.
