    Alexis,

I've had at look at UVOL-DVOL.PNG and 12345UP.PNG and 12345DOWN.PNG listed under your name, however I can't find the EFS files on esignal central. Could you please post these for me please.

        Thanks Alexis,

I have a question regarding the UVOL-DVOL.EFS. I've attached a Dax 5 minute chart and the study displays as many as 80 bars of consectutive up volume bars or down volume bars, even when the market is trading up and down though much of that period.

Is this statistically possible? Or am I somehow interperating the study wrongly. I'm presuming that each volume bar equals up volume minus down volume and is completly independant of any other bar. Is this correct?

        Thanks for your help,

        regards

The efs does not calculate the up/down Volume of the symbol plotted in the price window but computes a spread between $UVOL (NYSE Up Volume) and $DVOL (NYSE Down Volume) or alternatively $UVOLQ and $DVOLQ (ie the equivalents for NASDAQ).
