smart money index

The smart money index is an indicator for the dow
how do i create this .
you take the previous days close
minus the (7 am pst or 10 am est ) close
then add todays close .
this will plot as an overlay on a daily chart .
how would i do this .
for some reason i cannot get this efs wizard to work .

what you created was helpful yet i think u created something different then the on ei noted in here .
i only see 20 days worth of data showing up and im not sure how to find coments section in file

Hi,

To look at the comments, bring up the EFS editor by selecting
Tools->EFS->editor

Once the editor is up, you can click the folder looking icon and browse for the SMI efs.

I suspect you need to adjust your time template to allow for more days - but even then there will be a limited amount of SMI data. The comments have more details.

As I said in my first post, there are a number of Smart Money Indexes running around out there. I personally know of five of them. Most of them are similar, but one of them is very different from all the others. This one falls into the "more similar to the others category".
