Interactive Broker Margin Question

Let's say I deposit 50,000 in an account and I plan I trading both long and short.

Let's say for purposes of this discussion that I am buying 100 shares of some stock for 500.00 / shr, therefore using the full 50,000 dollars. If I later decided to short the stock and lost no money on the previous trade what is the maximum amount of shares I can short at IB?
