Built-in function description

Is there an explanation of the built-in functions anywhere? I see them listed in the EFS Help Center & Library, but the only details are the members of the functions, not what they do and how they do it.

For example, there is a built-in study called ChopStudy(). What does it calculate? I'm interested in the details on the entire list of functions.
