Alert.playSound("xxxxxx.wav") not working anymore

I installed eisgnal on my desktop pc and sadly found the API
Alert.playSound("xxxxxx.wav") not working correctly anymore. On my laptop, it works very well. On desktop, when that wav file is played by my efs, it sound like a drum striking. That wav file can be played with other applications like realplay or Musicmatch without any problem. What is the possible reason causing this problem? Thanks.

Alert.playSound() is currently working for me. I'm testing it with version 7.2 (build 544). Please post your code here and I'll test your specific setup.

It is my fault. The path to the wav files was not specified correctly. However I would suggest esignal generate an alert when the wav file could not be found.
