of the new Advanced Get 10.0 in esignal feels very different even though it has the same indicators. i'm not sure why but i got the esignal version to run the first time but now i keep getting this message that says "do i want to save the layout". whether i say yes or no, it will kick me off the esignal advacned get program. i cannot start it. i uninstalled and reinstalled with the same problem.

will they keep the old advanced get stand alone? i like the look and feel of that old version much better. i do not want to upgrade to this new version.

Changing platforms usually takes some time to adjust but based on feedback, we think the added functionality of eSignal is well worth it. We have created a KB article that covers the FAQ's we've already had from users. Hope that helps.

On the layout won't save issue, that's not any known issue I'm aware of so please contact Technical Support for assistance.

    Thanks.

      Most Recent Standalone version?

      Hi,

I use QCharts and AGET for trading, I do not use the Esignal platform, sorry too many years with QCharts to switch platforms now.

What is the latest-most recent version of the "standalone" AGET RT that I can use with a QCharts data subscription? I have been using the Bloomberg AGET version for a long time but will be migrating over to the QCharts/Esignal version soon. On the download page below which seems to be dead now I downloaded two different setup files with the names below. Since I can no longer access the old download page I can't post the exact description that was given for each one.

      1.AdvancedGet.exe 12.6MB (this is what's listed
      2. GET90_DST.exe 15.4MB in the properties general tab)

      http://esignal.com/advancedget/download/default.asp

A direct link to the latest "standalone"version or some guidance on which of the files below if any are what I should use would be greatly appreciated

FWIW, I have been using AGET since 1998, I obviously like the product.

        Re: Most Recent Standalone version?

The download page seems to be working now here are the two AGET standalone files listed...which would be the most recent/current to use with a QCharts data subscription?

        1.Real-Time Advanced GET 9.0 -- Dashboard Edition
(Version 9.0 -- Daylight Saving version)

        2.Real-Time Advanced GET 9.0 -- Dashboard Edition
        (Version 9.0 -- Real-Time)

        Thanks

          Hi Donv
Currently there is not a Standalone version of Advanced GET which will work with the QCharts Data Feed.

            Avery,

That's not what the sales dept told me, $1995 one time fee and i could use my QCharts subscription to run AGET is what I was told. QCharts has two data feeds presently the 5.1 version uses the old continuum client from quote.com but the 6.0 version uses the same data feed as esignal as far as I know or have been told. Can you refer me to someone who would know more about this question besides sales, the reps I have talked to don't seem to be familiar with these types of questions.

            thanks
